DRINK
Bound Bar – The lobby bar at this gorgeous boutique hotel was first opened by one of the cocktail greats, Salvatore Calabrese.* This elegant bar is a great place to relax with a cocktail and enjoy live music (F-Sa 9pm-1am, Su-Th 9pm-11pm). Don’t miss his signature drink, the Breakfast Martini. (The name makes it OK to drink in the morning, right?) They also offer a late night happy hour (9pm-1am nightly) with select $10 drinks. (*He is no longer associated, but the program started ambitiously.)

The Chandelier – This is a really beautiful bar (take all the pictures) and the drinks are better than mediocre.

3535 – The LINQ hotel’s lobby bar featuring weird and cool infusions and imaginative cocktails and an extensive cocktail menu.

Parasol Up/Parasol Down – This is a great dual lounge (Up is inside and Down is outside/patio). Up is decorated with lavishly ornate parasol-inspired lamps and has a whimsical feel. The patio (Down) is the perfect place to get away from the craziness of the Strip and enjoy a quiet drink with a view of a waterfall and enjoy the light show on the water every half hour from dusk to 12:30am. (Because, Vegas.)

The Golden Tiki – This tiki spot is kitschy AF. But, it’s open 24 hours, so it’s a must-visit … because, tiki. Did I mention the tiki business?

Squeeze – Grab a smoothie and take a walk on the strip, because we all need vitamins, right? (And if you get a boozy one, it helps with a hangover.)

Giada – While the restaurant was eagerly anticipated, I stick with the bar offerings. Stop in for a cocktail (like the Serpico, their version of a smoked Manhattan pictured below) and order a flatbread or a couple cheeses to snack on. (And the Limoncello Souffé is kind of everything.)

EAT
Hash House a Go Go (The LINQ) – There’s no better cure for a hangover than their brunch. It’s delicious, it’s often fried, and it’s hella boutiful. (Think piles of chicken and waffles bigger than your head.)

“Secret Pizza” (The Cosmopolitan) – Visit this spot on for late night pizza, but be ready to wait in line. It WAS a secret, but it wasn’t kept well.

Mon Ami Gabi – This casual French restaurant is a nice spot to grab a quick snack and a glass of rosé. Don’t miss their mushroom soup if it’s available!

Bazaar Meat – This restaurant designed by Philippe Starck with food by José Andrés offers some seriously bizarre cuts of meat-some that you’ve had … and some you’d never dreamt of trying … and in ways you’ve never considered trying them. (Think foie gras cotton candy.)

DO
The High Roller – Take a 30 minute ride on Vegas’s 550-foot tall version of the London Eye. Get views of the city that you’ve never seen before, and time it to be at the top at sunset for a real stunning view. Upgrade to the Happy Half Hour and you’ll have access to an open bar during your trip! Visit their website to see other unique experiences they offer, including a chocolate pairing and even yoga classes.

LINQ Promenade – Get away from the craziness of The Strip on this clean, quiet walk. The Promenade between the Flamingo and the LINQ has restaurants, bars (include AmeriCANS and an Irish pub), a bowling alley married to a concert venue (Brooklyn Bowl), and plenty of shopping spots.
Dolphin Yoga – This is an incredible experience. I’m not a yoga fan unless it’s followed by booze or held in an incredibly cool place. The yoga class is beginner-friendly, which is great because you’ll be distracted by dolphins swimming around you. The class is $50 for an hour class, but you can stay and use their spa facilities after the class, and they give you a smoothie on the way out.

Freemont Street – Take an evening to visit and walk around … it’s cheaper to gamble down there and the lights on the actual street are really cool. You can even zipline there.
Red Rocks – Get out of the hustle for an afternoon and make the 35-minute drive out to Red Rock Canyon. The canyon offers beautiful views from its hikes anywhere from 0.75 to 6 miles. Not into being IN nature? Take the scenic drive around the canyon. (Make sure to be prepared for a real hike. Some trails require climbing. Dress accordingly and take water, sunscreen, and layers!)

I decided I’d take a run through some Vegas bars, restaurants and clubs after taking some vacation time. I have been listening to similar talk shows to this Las Vegas Talk and have discovered Vegas is a place you have to see at some point in your life at least once. They key with Vegas is to make sure that you enjoy yourself whilst you’re at it! Go out drinking with your friends, gamble the night away whilst you can – just have fun with it. Las Vegas is a place where you can just enjoy yourself, although, a little bit of practice would definitely help when it comes to the gambling. So maybe go on sites like Youlikebet to get a little bit of practice in before you decide to spend all night gambling away! If you are unsure which sites to use, I would recommend reading some reviews rather than just choosing the first one you see. Casino-Bonus.me.uk/ offers reviews of plenty of different sites, so that would be a good place to start. If you’re not a fan of the hustle and bustle of the crowds and how busy the strip can be, you can still get the casino experience from the comfort of your hotel room, or maybe find a multiplayer game on sites like this website that you and your friends can all play at dinner. Now lets’s take a look at the bars, restaurants and clubs …
